My fall bucket list!
Happy fall! Unofficially, of course! We had a great weekend and I'm sad it's back to work tomorrow. Saturday I organized Nick's school supplies, washed and hung up all his school clothes, did a successful Target run with 2 boys in tow AND reorganized the pantry. Sunday was a great day with family...lots of food, fun and swimming.
Today was pretty chill...cleaning, movies and decorating for fall! I love having little fall touches all around the house. It just makes me happy!
So, since I'm all about fall today, it is time for my fall bucket list!
Fall Bucket List
1. Go apple picking
2. Bake a new apple dessert
3. Visit a pumpkin patch/corn maze
4. Attend a fall festival or Octoberfest
5. Get away for the night with the hubby to VT for some leaf peeping and romance! :)
6. Indulge in some apple cider and donuts
7. Have a pumpkin spice latte (or 10)
8. Go on a haunted hayride
9. Carve pumpkins with the kids
10. Make some fall crafts
11. Take some gorgeous fall photos
12. Go on a fall hike
13. Host a Halloween party (OK, this one is pretty unlikely but I have always wanted to have a big Halloween party...so, you never know)
14. Visit Salem MA...again, not likely due to time and scheduling restraints, but I have always wanted to visit Salem during October
15. Take the kids trick or treating (duh)
16. Decorate outside with mums and pumpkins
So tell me, what's on your fall bucket list? This is my favorite time of year and I am always looking for new things to do!
Ooooh I love your list sweet lady! I have always wanted to host a Halloween party too, maybe this will be the year? Doubt it LOL! Maybe when the kids are way older and doing their own thing. Happy almost, not quite, fall! <3
ReplyDeleteso many awesome and fun things! I would love to host a Halloween party as well, but I live in an apartment so I'll have to host mine elsewhere :D
ReplyDeleteA good, mostly doable, list! Interesting you want to visit Salem during Halloween. I always say I'd like to do a fall tour of Vermont. That's why they call it a bucket list, yes?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list! Apple picking and a hayride are definitely on my fall bucket list. Of course, it's 93 degrees out here and doesn't feel much like fall yet!
ReplyDeleteGreat bucket list! I made one last year, so I hope to do similar things this year. One thing I've added though is to have this baby (due Oct 1st). haha It'll be a busy fall for sure.
ReplyDeleteThose things all sound great! We usually visit the pumpkin patch with the kids and I make lots of apple and pumpkin foods.
ReplyDeleteShocking fact about me: I've never had a PSL :0
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna change that this fall for sure!
Oh, I so want for the hubby and I do get away for a long weekend, just the two of us. We have two boys as well. One's almost 5 and the other is 1. I too am a working mama and life keeps you hopping. Loved my long weekend! Stopping by from the Let's Be Friends Blog Hop. :)
ReplyDeleteI just wrote ours out too, and it includes apple picking, trick or treating, and visiting a pumpkin patch. Plus, I want to squeeze in another zoo trip before it gets too cold. Good luck with your list. Hope you get your party!
ReplyDeleteLots of great fall ideas, and activities. I've got a few of these on my bucket list, and I'm 8 away from my 10 pumpkin spice lates ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your Fall Bucket List! I love the pictures too––very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. What a Fabulous post. I'm not so into bucket lists but I love the Fall Bucket List idea. I might have to do one myself.
ReplyDeleteI'd love you to come over and link at The Fabulous Fall Party.
Come by anytime and link your Fall Themed posts. All the way till Halloween Week. And then November 1 starts Thanksgiving only until noon on Thanksgiving Day! Then guess who is coming to town! Hope to see you for all the partying
Love this! Oh I said that already. LOL. Thanks for linking! Come by anytime!
ReplyDeleteGreat list!!! It/you have me ready for Autumn as in yesterday ;) I am craving a pumpkin spice latte and a donut now too, thanks! I went to Salem last year in October and everything was decorated for Halloween. It's truly awesome. Also, wish I saw you in Target that day. ha!! ha!! (same time, different states) ;) Happy Fall my precious friend xoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat bucket list. I don't have one for fall, although I have a main bucket list that I am working on. It is fun when you can check something off. I have been in Vermont for fall and it is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Wake Up Wednesday,
Bev
